I returned to the Marriott Owing Mills for the 1st time since getting back to Ambassador status this year. I’ve stayed at this property a lot the last 2 years as both Ambassador, then Titanium and now as Ambassador again.

The property is well run with a very good staff, and I always have a good stay here. I stayed here 3 times this year as Titanium and always received the room I booked – no complaints, just an observation.

Staying here again this week, with 2 back to back reservations. I checked in last last night, not asking for any upgrades and was delightfully surprised with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite again. I booked the lowest cost rate (a great AA rate).

As an observational checkpoint, I asked to be upgraded to this room style 4 months ago when I was here with my wife, and was denied – as Titanium. Now NO I do not have inside info into the occupancy during that stay, but the hotel did not appear to be that busy – and yes, the multiple suites could have been all booked during my stay, but I think #AmbassadorStatusMatters

Overall, another good stay here. The breakfast this morning offered some more options than previously, and tonight there are a few more Hors d’oeuvre options than in the past.
