Long Live Points Advance

RIP Points Advance, I loved the flexibility you offered.

It’s the end of an era – this is my last Points Advance reservation, that I’ll be covering this week when my 125,000 point Sign Up Bonus posts.

I liked the flexibility that PA Reservations allowed. I don’t subscribe to the theory that abuse was rampant – although I do understand how it was possible before the the changes a couple years ago, when some hard limitations came into the system.

Due to my work travel schedule, I’m able to forecast a lot of my points earnings. With that and the availability of Points Advance reservations, I was able to plan, book and locks in points available rooms early. That strategy and our forecasted travel is sure to change a bit now.

Long Live Points Advance! … LOL 😁
