We spent 2 nights at the BWI Airport Marriott this weekend. It was an unexpected, last minute stay during what turned out to be, a busy weekend at the hotel.

I booked a AAA rate King room and that’s just what we got – a King room on the 10th floor. The room is typical, dated Marriott, and while the closet door was missing, the furniture in the room was in good condition, and the bed comfortable.

We didn’t have a car here – because our new car broke down, hence the reason for the stay, so we ate at the onsite restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The lounge is closed on the weekend, and I was given coupons for free buffet with omelette station, in the restaurant.

Given all the other Marriott options near BWI, I’m not sure we would return here as nothing, but the staff really, stood out.
