For this visit, I was able to find a rate at Hollywood Volume within the project budget—lower than all the options I’ve tried before.
I booked a base King room using a AAA rate, and upon arrival, I was delighted to be upgraded to Room 825: a top-floor, one-bedroom suite.

The suite was fantastic—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and a pleasant surprise considering the hotel’s location and size.
The room opened to a generous entryway with an open closet, a coffee maker, luggage space, and a well-sized desk. The living room featured a comfortable couch, a table and chair, and a wall-mounted TV, all framed by floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the Hollywood Sign and a gorgeous chandelier.

The bathroom was impressively large, with another open hanging closet, a roomy shower, and a separate toilet area. Though counter space at the sink was somewhat limited, there was more than enough storage for two guests staying a few days.
Social Ambiance, KA’TEEN Dining & Rooftop Nightlife
The hotel also hosts a nightly mixer in the lobby with complimentary beer, wine, chips, and salsa—a lively event that gave me the chance to chat with other guests for about an hour.

Beyond the lobby, the ground floor features a bar and the open-air restaurant KA’TEEN, where I enjoyed a delicious dinner in an incredible lush tropical atmosphere.

The rooftop is another highlight, boasting a cowboy-themed club, a pool, and sweeping views of the entire Los Angeles skyline and Hollywood Hills.
