Perched on the second floor of The Daytona hotel, The Blue Flame balances sleek indoor marble design with a breezy open-air terrace overlooking the illuminated fountains of Victory Circle.

After completing paddock load-in across the street at Daytona International Speedway for the Celebration Exotic Car Club track sessions, I stopped in for a nightcap. Sitting at the marble bar counter, watching Renny build classic cocktails with precision is a masterclass in professional barcraft.

My go-to order here is an Old Fashioned. The drink is stirred to ideal dilution, served over clear ice in a custom, heavy-bottom rocks glass etched with the official winged DAYTONA crest. Finished with a Luxardo cocktail cherry and a fresh orange peel twist, it balances rich bourbon caramel notes with bright citrus oils.
