Ambassador Elite Folio Verdict
"Flagship motorsport hospitality at ONE Daytona across from Daytona International Speedway during Celebration Exotic Car Club Track Days."
Executive Summary & Field Verdict
The Daytona, Autograph Collection remains one of my absolute favorite Marriott properties in North America. Located in the heart of ONE Daytona directly across West International Speedway Boulevard from the World Center of Racing, this hotel marries authentic automotive heritage with modern luxury hospitality.
This April 2023 stay coincided with the annual Celebration Exotic Car Club Track Days across the street at Daytona International Speedway. For anyone running high-speed track sessions, coaching, or managing paddock operations, staying here is an unmatched operational advantage. Paddock load-in at Garage 32 was a seamless 3-minute drive through the speedway infield tunnel, allowing me to transition effortlessly between hot-lap debriefs and hotel comfort.
Room 520 King accommodations featuring automotive-inspired headboard art and leather seating.
From the lobby curated with historic racing machinery to Room 520 overlooking the Victory Circle fountain, every square foot of this property reflects speed, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.
Crisp morning daylight over the ONE Daytona complex directly opposite the speedway.

Room 520 Motorsport Design Details
Assigned to Room 520 on the 5th floor, the room immediately establishes an authentic automotive atmosphere without crossing into gimmickry.
Key design elements of the Room 520 King include:
- Branded Bedding Emblem: A king platform bed dressed in high-thread-count white linens, featuring an embroidered winged
DAYTONAcrest stitched directly into the duvet linen. - Racing Wall Art & Furnishings: A panoramic motion-blur speed mural behind the upholstered headboard, paired with a rich burnt-orange automotive leather lounge armchair and a yellow accent ottoman.
- Executive Console & Connectivity: A long wooden media credenza with integrated work desk, wall-mounted flat-screen television, and clean desktop cable routing.
- Private Balcony: Glass sliding doors opening onto a private balcony with cast metal patio seating. The balcony commands panoramic views over the ONE Daytona Victory Circle fountain, shopping boulevard, and the towering white superstructure of Daytona International Speedway.

Nightcap at The Blue Flame
After Sunday afternoon paddock load-in at Daytona Garage 32 and parking the Alfa Romeo Giulia rental, I headed up to The Blue Flame, the hotel’s signature second-floor bar and terrace lounge.
Handcrafted Old Fashioned served in the custom etched DAYTONA rocks glass with an orange twist.
Bartender Renny and the team behind the bar run one of the most hospitable cocktail programs in Florida. Sitting at the polished marble bar, I ordered an Old Fashioned. The drink was served in a custom heavy-base rocks glass etched with the official DAYTONA winged emblem, garnished with a Luxardo cherry and a fresh orange peel twist. Enjoying the craft cocktail on the open-air terrace while taking in the evening breeze over ONE Daytona was the ideal way to unwind before Monday morning green-flag sessions.

Track-Day Morning Breakfast at Sir Malcolm
On Tuesday morning, before heading into the paddock for hot laps, I stopped at Sir Malcolm Restaurant on the lobby level at 6:35 AM. Pre-track nutrition requires substance without being overly heavy, and Sir Malcolm delivered flawlessly.
Pre-track 6:35 AM brioche French toast piled high with blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries.
The plated brioche French toast arrived beautifully presented: thick slices of golden egg-battered brioche dusted with powdered sugar, topped with fresh blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries, served with crispy applewood-smoked bacon strips, warm maple syrup, fresh orange juice, and hot coffee. The quiet early morning service was attentive and fast, having me out the door and through the speedway gate well before the 7:30 AM mandatory drivers meeting.
Speedway Logistics & Infield Access
For drivers and spectators attending track days, IMSA events, or NASCAR race weekends, The Daytona’s location inside ONE Daytona is impossible to beat:
