Room Comfort, Private Balcony and High-Floor Vistas

Our assigned room was situated on an upper floor, featuring a private curved walk-out balcony that looked out across Convention Way. Having actual outdoor access in a full-service high-rise hotel is an amenity I always appreciate, especially in Southern California where the weather is consistently pleasant.

The balcony gave us a bird’s-eye perspective over the entire Anaheim resort corridor. Looking across the roadway, the neighboring Hilton Anaheim and surrounding palms framed the expansive street grid.

As evening settled over Orange County, the view from the balcony shifted dramatically. The lights across the Anaheim basin stretched out toward the distant hills, making the balcony an ideal perch for winding down after a long day in the field.

Inside the room, the mattress and pillow configuration provided solid back support and clean, high-thread-count linens. The HVAC unit maintained a steady fan bench and held our target 64°F sleep temperature without cyclical compressor thumps. Soundproofing from the exterior sliding door was effective, keeping street noise well isolated once closed.

Down on the ground level, the hotel features an open inner courtyard filled with mature California palm trees, well-kept landscaping, and relaxed outdoor seating around the pool deck.

Watching the sunset light up the sky in shades of deep pink and violet between the hotel tower wings was one of the visual highlights of the stay. It gave a busy commercial convention property a much welcome resort feel.

Dinner at nFuse Restaurant and Bar

For dinner, we headed downstairs to nFuse Restaurant and Bar, the signature dining venue located right off the lobby. The space features a massive illuminated bar with a glowing backlit amber textured glass counter that immediately sets a modern, inviting tone.

Dinner and cocktails served at the illuminated amber bar counter in nFuse: top-shelf Old Fashioned with a clear craft ice cube, freshly made club sandwich, and seasoned sweet potato fries.

The food hit the mark after a demanding work day. A stacked turkey club sandwich served on toasted sourdough, paired with a hot wire basket of crispy sweet potato fries and an expertly mixed Old Fashioned over a solid square ice block. Service at the bar was prompt, friendly, and attentive.
