Why I Built the Infield Fleet

Infield race camping is unlike any other sporting experience on earth. For five days, tens of thousands of passionate fans live inside a 200 mph banking colosseum, transforming raw asphalt and grass lots into temporary cities with their own mayors, mechanics, and customs.

I began camping trackside in **2011** in my Sea Breeze motorhome, logging seasons across Talladega, Daytona, Charlotte, New Hampshire, and Bristol. In 2020, I founded the speedway group fleet not as a marketplace, but **to give fans a dedicated, central home for race week info, track insights, driver meet-and-greet schedules, and the authentic camaraderie of a race weekend**.

The "No Listing Spam" Rule: Why Track Groups Stay Clean

A core operational decision sets my 35 speedway groups apart from the rest of social media: **we strictly DO NOT allow ticket, campsite, or wristband sales or requests in the track groups**.

When groups allow buying and selling, they immediately devolve into cluttered classified listing boards, suffocating the genuine fan discussion, driver Q&A intel, and campground stories that make race week special.

The 3 Dedicated Face-Value National Exchanges

To safely solve the logistical challenge of transferring unused campsites and tickets, I established **3 distinct national exchange groups**:

Every exchange strictly mandates **face value or less** listings. While our team does not handle financial transactions, our active volunteer admin management works around the clock to aggressively screen bad actors and protect fans from scammers.
